Use of TradeCraft

TradeCraft helps UK tradespeople manage jobs, quotes, invoices, expenses, labour time, CIS records, and HMRC preparation workflows. You are responsible for checking that records, quotes, invoices, tax calculations, and exports are accurate before relying on them.

No professional advice

TradeCraft is an administration tool. It does not provide legal, tax, accounting, or financial advice. Speak to a qualified professional for advice about your business, tax position, or regulatory obligations.

Subscriptions

TradeCraft Pro subscriptions are purchased through Apple In-App Purchase and are managed under Apple's App Store terms. The free tier includes 3 jobs, 3 quotes, and 3 invoices. Pro removes those usage limits. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple account settings.

Local data and backups

The current app stores TradeCraft records in Core Data on your device and can sync those records through Apple's iCloud/CloudKit service when iCloud is available for the app. CIS contractor statement source files use protected app storage on the device and do not live-sync through CloudKit; they are included in the portable owner export. TradeCraft does not require a TradeCraft account or backend login. You are responsible for maintaining backups and exports of business records that you need to keep. TradeCraft provides a JSON export in Settings as one way to retrieve your records.
